On Monday, our classroom visited Judge Scott Pearson’s courtroom to put on a mock trial, hear from the court’s bailiffs and participate in the Ask An Inmate program. It proved to be a terrific experience in which students learned more about the judicial process and the difference between “getting to go to court” and “having to go to court.”
