Valentines 2026

Although students chose to keep things low-key, we still snuck in a Valentine’s box decoration competition, Minute to Win It, a game of Taboo with a February twist, and a Valentine exchange.

Valentines 2025

Thank you to all the families who shared treats and cards for our Valentine’s celebration. A special thank you to Jill for creating the salt clay art activity and adding all the extra features to enhance the presentation.

Valentines 2024

We finished a math lesson. Then we completed a science activity. Then we took a break to create Valentine boxes and share treats with our classmates. (Thank you families for being so generous and sharing so many Valentines with the students.)

Valentines 2023

Decorating a cereal box is as old a tradition as there is in elementary school. Thanks families for sharing the boxes and for being so generous with Valentines treats.

Valentines 2020

Our last official classroom celebration for the 2019-2020 had students making Valentines boxes before sharing cards and gifts. Love all the variation, although the outcome/goal was the same for all.

Valentines 2019

Thank you families for organizing our Valentines Celebration. It included a photo booth, several Minute to Win It games, and fun foods. After two consecutive days of indoor recess, I think taking the hour we did for a series of fun activities was clearly welcome.

A Little Valentines Celebration
